The 800 year old Abbey was once a home for the English nobility and aristocracy and is now one of the UK's National Sports Centres. Bisham Abbey provides training grounds and centres of excellence not only for the country's leading sportsmen and women but also the local community.

Bisham Abbey also prides itself in 'Connecting Leisure to the Community' and its facilities are open to the public not just the elite. Available to the public is not only the hire of the football pitches, Astro-Turf, Accommodation, Wedding Receptions and Ceremonies, Conference and Parties facilities but also Harpers gym memberships also offer exceptionally competitive rates for the use of Harpers gym, Golf and Racquets.

Mentioned in the Doomsday Book, Bisham Abbey played host to Henry VIII and the exiled Elizabeth I who governed for a while from the suite now known as the Elizabethan Room.

Located Midway between Junction 4 of the M40 and Junction 8/9 of the M4, Bisham Abbey is ideally situated for access from London, Heathrow, Southeast and the Midlands.

Our nearest airport is Heathrow a mere 30 minute drive away and our nearest train station is Marlow just a short five minutes away. Alternatively Maidenhead and High Wycombe have good links to London and are also only 10-15 minutes drive. Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre is just off Marlow Road in Bisham, situated opposite The Bull Public House.
